SESSIL®

SESSIL® is a support material that is suspended in a trickling filter and has
sputtered, reinforcing plastic strands that act as traction elements. For use
in an anaerobic submerged fixed bed system, the support material is
prevented from floating up by means of weight bars attached to the bottom
of the element. In the case of aerated fixed beds, a side frame is used to give
stability.

  • Rip-resistant film strips with high tensile strength made from UV-resistant polyethylene
  • Individually adaptable growth surfaces of 100 m2/m3 to 250 m2/m3 available
  • Low installation weight
  • Simple onsite assembly
  • Extremely low transport volume

BIO-NET®

The BIO-NET® system consists of completely three-dimensional permeable blocks. Thanks to its vertical tube structure, this system provides optimum sludge removal for submerged fixed bed systems, thus providing the best possible protection against blockage. Due to the load capacity of the individual blocks, extremely large heights can even be realized in trickling filters. Like SESSIL®, BIO-NET® offers large growth surfaces for micro-organisms.

  • Polyethylene grid tubes, welded together to form sturdy blocks
  • Three specific growth surfaces: 100, 150, and 200 m²/m³
  • High load capacity
  • Blocks can be walked on
